Developing a new idea

New ideas are great in number, but few in action.  Why is this, we all don't really know, it's like we get side tracked by the work, or the overcoming feeling of the research or implication of the project that just gets to us.  According to some of my favorite authors, the idea is the most powerful thing on this earth, or anywhere for that fact.

The way I believe ideas happen is kind of a abstract faith that comes with the thought itself.  The speed in which the mind process the decision is incredible and how we make the decision on how to go about this idea is such a complex it is insane.  One movie that really got my attention was the Envy with Jack Black (the movie about vapoorize)  it made such a great impression on the power of an idea and how easily a great idea can be shot down by close ones or friends.  But sometimes the idea is so strong it just seems to take a power of it's own and consume you to point of obsession.

Through the experiences I have had, the idea that will mean the most to you will always be the one your family and friends say will never work.  Overcome with the desire to see it realized, and you will know when this happens, do whatever it takes to get it going regardless of whatever your friends say.  If you ever get discouraged, read about Marconi (he invented the radio wave) and see how his family committed him for being insane when he discovered the use of wireless transfer.
