Art of finding new business

Starting your own business can be a daunting task, finances, friends, bugging people, convincing them you have a  skill, building the your brand, bringing an identity to the table of the business.  All these things make up what a business calls a useful service.  We have had the pleasure of working with some very successful people, and i'll admit at first it's a little intimidating but after your blow past the feelings of potential failure, you start to see the light of successes.

Meeting these individuals that have accomplished so much is such a touching experience and all I can think of is how am I going to prove to them I have something that will increase their business.  I can honestly say the best part about what we do is the fact we can't go to school for it (well we can but we'd be so behind by the time we graduate we just have to go back and learn it all again). I really enjoy the respect we get for being self educated and motivated and in the end I really feel this is the aspect is to our advantage over the larger more structured firms that higher out of design schools.

It might be alot more work, it more be alot less fun time and less friend time, it might mean working on weekends and into the wee hours of the night.  But for every time you think you failed, or you thought it was to much but you overcome because it was the only option you had, then I can say you can look back at all those times and enjoy the view from the top of the mountain.  Stand tall and keep what you have earned from the sweat upon your brow.

"A man is relieved and gay when he has put his heart into his work and done his best; but what he has said or done otherwise shall give him no peace."  - Ralph Waldo Emerson
